Ahhh ohhh nooo overseas degree aahhhrghhh.
It's not for another 3 years, but i'm already thinking about it. Pa chose Murdoch Uni in Perth but I really don't wanna leave sg. And what if I don't make it to Murdoch? Or a good JC for that matter?
Then again, if I screw up my o's, there's always my backup plan to do vet science in temasek poly and try my best to excel in that. It said you need at least a C6 for O'level english. Haha.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh why am I thinking about it now? It's so worrying. And the fees are bloody expensive.
But murdoch looks like a really good uni for vet science. They have their own animal hospital and farm for you to do a little more hands on activities. And when it comes to real vet stuff, there's no more feeding kittens evaporated milk and water through sterilised syringes, or taping ice cream sticks to broken wings of birds, or even performing CPR on your dying rabbit.
The CPR didn't go too well. I inflated the rabbit like a balloon.
I went to the murdoch site and they said you need to pass courses in Physics (and/or Biology), Chemistry and Mathematics.
Wait, AND/OR BIOLOGY? Is it THAT minor a subject? Why physics? Why? I hate physics.
Anyhews, biology it is then. After the o's i'd still have to go through 2 years of irrelevant memorising of human enzymes and hormones and whathaveyou. I wish it was more specific.
Or I could go to Temasek Poly.
The site DID say they encourage those with diplomas in vet science to apply. So do they accept diploma holders then? They don't have any email or what.
A 500 word essay on why I should become a veterinarian, why do I think I will succeed in this course etc. I could do that right now actually.
Strong background in Math, Chem, Physics and/or Bio. I hate chem too.
Wow, they sound really scary man. They rank all your essays at one shot and choose only EIGHT. The rest are moved into the next round along with others who apply during that time. And some are rejected. The next round, they choose ANOTHER EIGHT. There are four rounds total. SO IN ONE YEAR, THEY ONLY TAKE IN 32 STUDENTS FOR VET SCIENCE?
Holy shit.
Vet science is the most sought after course in murdoch. I must be nuts.

I HAVE to play this after the mid years. Or i'll just die.
And about the previous entry when I was blogging about the OC. It's a bloody expression. Don't get so technical about it ok. Jeez.
So anyway, I went to Surin's house today again. The last time before the mid years. He made me tuna on little pieces of conventional prata. The tuna he makes is always nice heheh.
Then slept. I was supposed to leave at 4.30 to collect my dog tags and buy ash's dinner but we just couldn't be arsed to even sit up. After much rolling around, tickling and half an hour later he finally carried me (I got too lazy) off and dropped me on the floor.
His term hasn't even started yet he was so semangat, wearing his SP orientation t shirt and using the water bottle. He went to the kembangan CC gym to work on his one sided muscle and I took the MRT to TM (cue gasp from mariam). Since I was there I picked up a little something for ma from cards n such. A little book about mothers and a little bag to put the book in. And a little card. It's all so little, quaint and cute. I think it's appropriate lah. And I like that cards n such shop quite a bit. Everything's at VERY reasonable prices and they're all so nice.
I dunno when mother's day is. But i'll sign for ash and pa, cause aresha sent a card all the way from australia already.
Thank god for the long weekend. I really doubt i'll study, but i'll TRY MY VERY BEST. I'll do SS, A math and E math. Not so sure about the rest, maybe bio too. I must maintain my title, and I cannot lose to Kar Mun for bio if not I will lose face for sure man. But I just can't seem to retain info like I did last year, like a... SPONGE.
Then some invisible hand came along and squeezed my brain and all the studying got squeezed out.
Ash's been discharged. I think they discharged him a little early cause of his bloody attitude.
On one occasion, he just walked out of the room and went to the next room. The lady had that machine to help you breathe, I forgot what it was called. And ash started his nonsense. On tuesday I think he ripped his drip needle right off his hand and blood was spurting everywhere. I wasn't there but ma didn't spare me from all gruesome details.
Dengue my ass, he still had the energy to go bonkers at the hospital.

SOLLY AH! HAHAX!
Yes I really am. I've seriously been so bloody preoccupied doing homework and random minutes of studying.
Homework mostly. I haven't had much time for studying. All the teachers are finishing up the last chapters at the last fucking minute.
Ok on the bright side, I bought a dog tag today! And I left it at this shop to get it engraved. Woohoo I've always wanted one man. Finally. Engraved too!
Next on my list is converse sneakers. There are just those days you can't wear slippers. ALSO, more beach shorts, and a new pair of slippers. I think I was a beach bum in my past life. I can't live without slippers or beach shorts.
Hmm so what else... I feel like buying a ton of pirated DVDs. Kung Fu Hustle especially. That movie was fucking awesome.
Sigh. My life is becoming so boring. I see surin less, and there's no mood to go crazy with my friends anymore. Except today, when we went to get Hidayat's 2 month overdue present. We got him smiley faced boxers, a REALLY nice pencil case, a funky super mario tshirt that says "I scored with the princess" and a fake livestrong band, just for the hell of it.
The tshirt was damn cute though. I might consider buying it myself.
ARGH I NEED TO PLAY CHRONO CROSS NOW. My god. That game just rocked the gaming industry. Every true gamer has a foundation, be it their gameboy, or the good old ps. I remember cycling all the way to cash converters at Tampines just to buy a normal no-colour ancient gameboy for $30. My friend ended up selling her colour one for $50. Then in p4, pa bought the PS. And he rocks for that. Oh yeah, we had a sega console too, but ma smashed it with a hammer.
Then aresha dearest bought me a ps2 for xmas '03. Heheh.
Where's your childhood when you never owned a gameboy and played pokemon? Come on, admit it. Pokemon rocked. Then the whole new series of pokemon came out and it started to suck badly. I even memorised the pokerap and participated in the Trading Card Game League at Toys R Us every weekend. Ok I guess it was a little obssessive. I never got past the 3rd badge cause ma banned me from going. Biyatch.
I made a few friends there too. Even this bastard of a guy, I was in p6, I think he was sec 2. We fought more verbally than with cards. I'd make fun of him when we had holidays that he didn't, since he was in secondary school. He never won the arguments, but I lost all the card battles. Pathetic, I know. But I was interested more in the value of my cards than battling, and the best place to buy cards was at toys r us during the league, cause even adults would go there to play. I'd buy cheap holographic cards from them, and sell them at a higher price. Then i'd buy even more holographic cards.
I had ancient mew, and mewtwo, and charizard, venusar, and the turtle guy with the pumps. Those were my most prized cards, but I had plenty more holos, like pigeot (?) and alakazam.
My god I actually REMEMBER the names.
I even cried during the Pokemon Movie. I just thought it was so sad, especially when Ash got turned to stone and all the pokemon started crying and... Ok i'll stop here.
It finally ended in sec 2. I gave EVERYTHING I had to the salvation army. My figurines, trading cards, keychains, stuffed toys, master pokeballs (masterballs lol), pokemon magazines, and my Topps trading cards too! Those were the cheap sticker kinds but those were difficult to collect. I had a whole album full, but I just dumped ALL OF IT into one large black garbage bag, and said goodbye.

I AM pooped.
From all the fucking homework that the teachers have been mercilessly piling on us. Shitfie (haven't used that name in a long time) has been giving us karangans to do for EVERY lesson, so each week we've been doing THREE FUCKING EXPOSITIONS every fucking week. On top of that, we've been given A Math, E Math, chem, and a little bit of bio. It doesn't stop there. Mr Fucking Fathul just decided to give us a test on MONDAY.
When he said it, the instantaneous reaction was a loud HUH from everyone. No SS on monday, humanities lecture after school. Then he oh-so-conveniently tells us that it's AFTER the lecture, at bloody 4pm. We're not bloody robots designed to cater to our teacher's every whim. There's a designated time and place for what was ORIGINALLY supposed to be carried out during lesson time. And noooo he couldn't just spare fucking 20 minutes on TUESDAY to do the test. He's so bloody obnoxious, it irritates me to the core.
I hate his lessons more and more as the weeks pass. Partially cause i've got a whole Sec 3 SS textbook to memorise and i'm venting it out on him.
Right ok. Well as usual, had tuition, then I had a sudden urge to see surin, so I stopped at kembangan to have a slurpee. Just sat and talked about stuff when we first met, when he passed me this fruit thing and told me it was a chinese dildo. I still remember that. Either I literally kicked his ass or scolded him some bad word or.. Oh wait now I remember.. I said, "It wasn't small enough".
Well, i'm waking up at an unearthly hour again tomorrow. 7.30am. On a fucking saturday. At this rate i'll never catch up with my sleep.
"Teens and the Law". I shudder to think how the speakers are gonna mutilate the english language, considering the fact that it's catered to kids my age. Blegh. Should've tried to convince Brian to come. Oh well, i'll just listen to Franz Ferdinand and Dj Zinc and maybe sleep. If anything remotely attracts my attention, i'll probably find it somewhere in me to nudge Fi and tell her the talk is full of rot.
IF it comes with goodie bags, I may change my mind. I'm so not bothered about this weekend. Play a little, cycle a little, do the shitload of homework, study for the stupid test.

This week has been so fucked up.
First of all.
I DROPPED MY CAMERA!!! MY HEART SHATTERED LIKE MY CAMERA LENS!!
Sigh. Stupid fucking tripod. Why give me such a bloody small tripod when the camera is too heavy to support? Cheebai.
On to better things, I think I've progressed well in Kingdom Hearts. It's damn cute man. The villains of the game are all those disney villains like uhh.. the evil witch from snow white, the evil arabian dude from Aladin (Was it Jaffar?), Hades from Hercules, the octopus lady from the Little Mermaid and the big poofy pillow guy from the Nightmare Before Christmas!!! I laughed like hell when I saw them. There were also FF lookalikes like Tidus and Wakka from FF X. But I seriously expected a more challenging game. It's the easiest RPG i've played.
But cute nonetheless.
The Sims: Urbz is ok lah. Nothing so great, but there's a whole bunch of Black Eyed Peas songs all in Simlish which is really funny. And you get to meet the members of the group too. Even dress like them. But the loading time is a real killer man. 3-4 minutes just to get from one place to another. I won't be playing that for long I guess.
Still have yet to try GTA San Andreas. Eh did you see the shots of XXX 2? Bloody hell they got that rapper dude to do it what the hell.
Brian's group did their CME skit in front of the whole upper sec today. Why? Cause it was sooo good. But today was in the hall so people couldn't really hear it. It was better in class though, the atmosphere was really suitable and it went smoothly.
Me and Fi signed up to go for some "Teens & the Law" talk at Singapore Post centre. No guesses who's organising it. Southeast CDC, so no guesses who'll be there hohoho.
Ping sent me the Adidas commercial song! Yay!
Tuition today. At 5. Now's 4. What does that mean? I have to go now. Bye.

My mom's watching some weird warner brother's movie. It's bloody noisy from up here.
Hmm so it was a pretty eventful weekend, or saturday for that matter. Went to Peck Seah St, just outside tanjong pagar mrt station for yigang's birthday lunch. I've got loads of pics, but be patient yeah? They're like 700kb EACH so keep your pants on while i resize the whole 70-strong load of them.
I haven't really mentioned much about my birthday have I? Well, last saturday I met surin at about... 1pm. Watched spongebob a second time! It's just as funny.
Before that we went to pastamania for lunch. Took a whole load of pics with the new digicam but i gotta resize those too.
After that we went to walk around Far East and I bought fake specs there. They're so fun to deceive people with!
Got home at around 7.30 to a not so happy mother. Kept rambling on about how I just strolled in at whatever time I wanted when there was the new maid to take care of. Also got a little surprise from the elder sistah! Got something to bling myself up with. It's really pretty!
Also a card from patti. I don't understand her. She takes out the fact that I don't really keep in touch with her on the amount she gives me every year for my birthday. While my sister gets a hundred bucks for her 13th, i've been getting ever-dwindling amounts, from $20, to an all time low, $10. I'm not being calculative, I swear, but I'd rather not get anything from her if she wants to pull some shit like this.
She even has the fucking CHEEK to email aresha saying I didn't call her or what to thank her. ARggghh I hate the fact that she keeps whining about what a bad granddaughter I AM when she makes no attempt to email me herself. I don't keep in touch with ANY RELATIVES at all, and they're perfectly fine with that. Even my maternal grandparents get an occasional visit just as I visit her yet they aren't whining about how I don't thank them for shit cause they don't give me anything, and I prefer it that way. Ahh whatever.
Ok back to birthdays! Yigang's was fun as hell. After lunching at Lagun Sari and delivering the baby that was his present from me and surin to him. He just couldn't unwrap it so he yanked it out of the wrapping which was really difficult.
Then we went to Cine only to find the bowling alley closed down! How stupid. So we went to this coke lounge and ate tiramisu birthday cake. After that, we took some naughty pics with movie posters and went to taka to window shop. Maya says I look like a man killer in zara stilettos! Did I spell that right? So wasted I didn't take a picture. I looked crazily tall.
After walking around a little more we went to nine west and yigang made me try on so many shoes man. But nine west sells comfortable heels. The zara ones weren't only man killers, they were toe killers.
After that, we finally were on our way back. I made a new friend too! Her name's Azean and she was giving out free kotex in pretty purple paper bags. I think she'd make for a wonderful bitching partner, cause we were going on and on about bitchy KC girls at coffee bean.
Well that's so far. I'm feeling neutral about school cause for one; I finished all my homework on FRIDAY WOO!, BUT, I have a bloody humanities talk after school from 3-4pm and then tuition from 5-7pm, from which my dad will NOT be able to pick me up, which sucks cause my tutor lives in an ulu part of Aljunied which is quite a walk from the mrt station. Bargh fargh argh.
Even so, I sorta enjoy tuition cause I like practising A Math. I dunno, it's fun in a weird way, but only when you know you'll get the right answer. Which doesn't happen too often BUT IT SHALL CHANGE... uh.. soon.

I just cried my eyeballs out.
Shane is an asshole. He put that video of animals being skinned on friendster and now my eyes are all red from watching it.
I don't think I want to post the link here. It's too much. They just fucking WHACK THOSE POOR ANIMALS to death. Those that twitch a little get whacked more. I couldn't take it, not even a quarter through the video when I just turned it off. I cried so much I don't think i'll be able to sleep well tonight. God. After the skin the animals, they're still alive. Or half dead. And they're left to die, skinless, limbless, and bleeding profusely.
Shane's vegetarian. Goddamnit. I just keep feeling worse. I don't own anything made from fur and I intend to keep it that way. But.. vegetarian? I don't know. He said the butchering of animals for meat's worse than the skinning.
Okay. I'm still gonna be a vet, AND ALSO!
Part time volunteer animal welfare officer. YES, THAT I SHALL BE!
But where do I start eh. Ok, start by studying hard and becoming a vet first. Mustmustmustmust. Ok. Bye.
