aaahhhh debateeee...

The debate's tomorrow. I'm just not cut out for the adrenaline rush a.k.a induced urge to pee before it begins. Worst of all, i'm the first speaker. Then again, it's not necessarily a bad thing.

I get it over and done with quickly. But the time I'm speaking seems to pass soooo slowwwwlyy.

Blah.

I'm a lover, not a FIGHTAH!

gootmornen!

Good morning Aruna!

Henna hands! Pretty.

The claw is your master.

Peas, from the Osim eye massager-meister with pimple cream on her face at 11am in the morning.

Watched Fun with Dick and Jane with Primela at 12am last night. It's NOT WORTH IT. DO NOT WATCH IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. It's more like.. Depression with Dick and Jane. Since it had Jim Carrey I thought it'd be funny, but it was disappointing as hell. I wanna watch I Not Stupid 2.

Met Teddymon at Simpang after that. I noticed someone that looked really similar to *insertcuteguysnamehere*, and told Mon about it. When the person got up to leave, we saw... BREASTS! OMG! LOL!

It was a GIRL! HAHAHAHAHA. Aiyoh.

I was stoning pretty bad after downing half the cup of milo. So we left at about 3am.

I feel like going cycling later. Hrm.
During the TPJC Chinese New Year concert, the part where they were gonna sacrifice some sheep, Syafiq was doing the sound of the sheep behind the curtain.

'Maaa, maa, ma-*burp*, maaaaaa, *burp*"

It was fucking funny.

happy chinese new year! *gives you a candycane*

Waaaaahhh so long never blog. I see my pageviews plunging.

And for the first time in what feels like.. years, I'm developing a crush. Shit shit. This sucks. Especially not him of all fucking people. *stabs self*

I'm not gonna divulge into it and pour my heart and soul into this wretched splotch of cyberspace cause it's... unconfirmed. I'm such a sucker for a pretty face. Then again, who isn't?

Primela is here with me. Woohoo.

Today's CNY concert was pretty funny. Asri kept sucking on his candycane in the most suggestive way possible. Oh, my mom had so many leftover candycanes from christmas, I brought them all to school today and gave them out while shouting HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR at them.

Had henna done at the ICS corner after the concert. Ravleen did it for me, and I gave her a chinese new year candycane in return. She looked really pretty in her lime green punjabi suit. I didn't even recognise her man.

Oh oh oh, a HELLUVA lot of indians from my school are from INDIA. Wtf mate. I felt so alienated at the ICS corner cause all the indian girls were doing henna for random people and I was just standing there looking pretty darn out of place. With Asri sucking on his candycane suggestively.

Hurhur. Oh, and i'm gonna buy my franz ferdinand tix on Sunday. With rakkity rakk. WOOT!

I should write a book, and call it... Conversations with Shea.

- says: i got a question

- says: if

- says: you like a guy and you go up and tell him

- says: what would you expect him to do?

=D says: lol

=D says: good question

=D says: hmm

=D says: *ultimate fantasy mode*

=D says: he'd smile, get me to sit me down, look into my eyes and tell me he likes me too

- says: haha

- says: how bout reality check mode?

=D says: walao!

- says: lololol!

=D says: hahaha

=D says: errrr

=D says: a smile, at the very LEAST

=D says: jeez

=D says: mumble some nonsense and walk away or something

- says: exactly!

=D says: *fantasy mode*

=D says: then call me later and apologise, and profess his undying love for me too

- says: then

- says: ninjas. thousands of them.

- says: and he fights them all with one hand while holding you with the other

- says: right?

=D says: oh yes.

- says: lololol

Got sucked into a GP debate thing. 'Youths in Singapore enjoy life passionately' or something like that. And of all things, our team has to AGREE. Bah. I guess i'll have to churn out some crap points. I just hope I don't get picked for the following rounds after that, because then i'd have to come up with more crap I might not agree with.

But debating is fun. I still remember how me, Aaron, Fatimah and Brian totally thrashed the opposition during our debate on legalising euthanasia. It was goooood.

I can't say the same for this one. Not just yet anyway.

Paid for $4 ear studs with NETS at far east today. Lol.

My latest handphone bill's 50 yollars. From 100++ highs, to an all time low. I'm so proud of myself.

=D

=D says: but its only for 2 days more

- says: its not just COOL SIA I SKIP LESSON HA HA

=D says: hahahaha

- says: good

Shea's logical justification of his ponteng-ing of lectures. Logical? You be the judge.

Got down to real guitar playing now. I've learnt so much in just 2 lessons man. Woot. Bass, baby, here I come!

HMPH.

I hate the world.

I'm gonna buy myself a gerbil, I DON'T CARE! GERBILS ROCK now.

Me and my gerbil buddy. We will be best friends. My nice smelling best friend. Hamsters smell like their own crap.

I will buy gerbil soon. It will be ALL MINE. Not sharing with my sister, oh no. I'll maintain it all by myself.

Me and my gerbil buddy. =D
Suddenly I don't feel like blogging much.

Fresh was alright. A lot of tracks were repeated, and Fresh was delayed from 12am to 2am which sucked majorly. Yigang was going all RNB and I thought it was pretty funny.

Nobody would've guessed my top was from This Fashion hurhur. I wanted to wear my topshop skirt with it and yet again it didn't work out too nicely so I just wore jeans.

When Fresh's set started one of the bartenders came up to me and said that he was dared by the other bartenders to ask for my number, and I get a free drink out of it. A free drink! So what the hey. I agreed and he disappeared for a good 5 minutes, then returned and told me I didn't need to give him my number, but I get a free drink anyway. Woot!

Turns out... the free drink was called a BLOWJOB. It required me to eat whipped cream off the table without using my hands. Aresha, Celine and Yigang had A REALLY GOOD LAUGH out of it. The drink was actually in a shot glass, and I had to drink that and eat a trail of whipped cream leading to it without my hands. Shit shit.

I did it in the end. It was damn embarassing man. Aresha took a lot of pictures that she intended to blackmail me with, but I deleted them while she was sleeping just now. Harharhar.

Later when we were leaving, Shaun (the bartender from before) pulled Yigang aside. I walked out to wait for him and he later told me that the dude really wanted my number and asked him for it. Thank god Yigang didn't give it, cause he looks like he wears a wig and is in his late 20s.

I watched the sneaks for Memoirs of a Geisha on friday at TM. Caught the 11.30pm slot with Celine, Aresha and Primela. It's damn nice lah. Honestly, I have yet to read the book but I thought the movie was well-done, except for Sayuri's contacts. I dunno, they just don't look nice. Or maybe's its just me.

Yay.

Woot!

I am going for FRESH LATER YAY!!! I haven't gone for DNB in about what... a month? Yeah the last one was Nutone.

Woohoo! I think its gonna be gooood. Packed, but gooood. Yigang says he'll be doing work till late, but we're leaving late so its ok. Budi also said he'd be there. He didn't make any solid promises lah but I hope he goes!

Last DNB event before Aresha goes back... Poo.

dj fresh woot!

Saturday's clubbing is very very very unconfirmed right now. I really wanna go for DJ Fresh!! Yigang said he'd go, and Surin is now a DNB addict so maybe he can go too, but I dunno if ma will let me! Last year she was so heck care, I could ask her THE NIGHT itself and she'd let me. Now it's soooo... 'must ask me in advance or you can't, you will drink and smoke and blahblahblah' and the usual.

Drinking is minimal, and I don't smoke at all! Wtf!

So i'll ask her today. If she doesn't let me go then... never mind lah. *BIG SIGH*

School was tiring today. Not cause we were doing anything particularly strenuous, but the BOREDOM was seriously getting to me. Biology was alright, I managed to understand like... 75% of what the teacher was yapping about.

Gladys, on the other hand (omg pun lol, she was sitting on my left, geddit?), was furiously scribbing notes all over her Bio slides. Fatimah, on the OTHER other hand was dozing off cause she was apparently tired and couldn't understand a thing. I'm kinda scared to slack off cause I suck at catching up.

We went back to BV! Woot! It was damn fun seeing everyone again. We could poke fun at the teachers and they'd just laugh it off. Mr Shah was especially funny. After seeing Fatimah's TPJC collar badge, he said, "TPJC is gonna go down the drain"

Then when he saw my badge, he said, "TPJC really gonna go down the drain now"

Then he saw Su's, and went, "Wah you too? TPJC is definitely going down the drain!"

Later at the staff room he saw Fi wearing her badge and said, "Eh there, another TPJC gangster"

It was damn funny lah. He said he missed us and wanted us to retain so he could teach us physics. And I finally saw the picture of my grinning self on the cover of BV's 2006 handbook. LOL. Can see my pimple scars. Gah.

Saw Mr Fathul outside school, and the first thing he said was, "Eh cover girl!"

Oh yeah I didn't mention before. Su and Fi found Miss Khoo, Mr Saidil, Mr Fathul and Miss Syaidah in the TPJC yearbooks from yonkers ago. Like... late 1980s? Gosh. We didn't hesitate to make fun of them today, however Miss Syaidah shot back calling Fatimah a minah cause she went all pink on herself.

Yes, Fatimah turned down PURPLE FOR PINK TODAY! GASP! Pink hair band, pink bag, pink socks, even Fatimah herself was taken aback. Unintentional I guess, but funny all the same.

It was weird walking around BV today. We were in the BV uniform yet we weren't students of BV. It was a really off feeling. Everyone would look at us from head to toe, wondering why we're here with our small bags, dark coloured shoes and multicoloured hairclips.

Shea and me have been talking cock for the past few days on MSN. Albeit shy in person, he's really funny. He talks, walks and plays soccer EXACTLY like Han Chih. Ngee Ann primary leaves that kinda mark perhaps.

Nap time!

*edit*

*NINJA EDIT* hwazak!

We changed our room layout! It's more spacious now.

This is what you see when you first walk in.

The beds. The lump on the bed on the left is my sister.

My study table now faces the funky wall of posters and photographs.

Dog is on heat. So she can't come into the house... unless....

.........she's wearing dog panties!!

Her bum looks much much smaller.

A very happy dog walking around with her eeyore and my feet.

She nudged my free hand for a pat while I took a picture of her dirty eeyore. She's so adorable =D

And proof that the weather fucking sucks.

I miss the SUN!!! I love sunny days, even if it's blistering hot. Weather like this gets me very, very depressed. It alternated between drizzles and showers, and hasn't stop for more than an entire week.

I HATE IT!!!!!!!

Sigh.
I set up my bank account already! Woot! So i'll be getting a block sum each month. Going out money, transport money and handphone bills i'll be taking care of myself. So people, instead of smsing me, CALL ME INSTEAD! Plzkthx.

Who's line is on now, and the Hot Chick is on later, watch both hor! Kbye.

the flows of magic are whimsical today

You know what.

TPJC people are like damn fucking smart lah. Almost everyone in the science stream were in pure science streams before. Took pure science, humanities, PLUS additional math. In total that's 8-9 subjects.

I feel damn stupid lah.

On the upside. I was requested to join canoeing, track and choir. I've never felt so wanted my entire life. All throughout secondary school i've been shying away from sports and heck-caring choir like nobody's business. Unfortunately, all my CCA options don't contain any of the 3.

Hmm. Photography, dance, student council and tentative guitar. I feel bad for turning down track. I didn't even give it a try. During PE the teacher said I have good strides or some naansense like that. Who knows? If I work on it I may be able to do well. But i'd rather do things I have a passion for. I HAD a passion for singing till I met the assholes in the BV choir. I still do, but there's that lingering paranoia that the choir people won't like me.

Dance is a little unexpected, but I figured i'd give it a try for the fun of it. A little exercising will do my figure some good. =D

Time for some OC and milo!

Monday, January 09, 2006

Finally got round to going to the National Library today with Surin. Didn't read the usual fiction books, I took a whole shitload of non-fiction books about dogs, carps, biology, algebra and zoo animals. Yeah, weird but strangely fiction doesn't appeal to me anymore. Apart from the fact that i've completely lost the ability to write secondary school narratives without churning out a whole storybook, expositions are like damn fun to write lah. Yknowyknow?

Besides, narratives are fucking useless now that i'm in JC. Gonna subscribe to TIME magazine to boost my general knowledge.

Yeah so. I borrowed books on animal welfare, biology and zoo animals. Zoo animals cause i'll be joining the zoo as a volunteer very very soon, that is if they select me in the first place.

Surin bought me a giant pen from Bugis! Woo! It's damn nice lah. Tomorrow I will bring it to school to disturb people. I was thinking of bringing the air horn too cause it'll be damn sian waiting hours and hours just for PE.

Yes. I'm going to school tomorrow just for FRICKING PE. Worst part is, it's compulsory to report for flag-raising at 7.30am whether you have lectures or not. Lectures for my subject combination only start wednesday onwards. And PE only starts at 11+ I think. Baaaahhhh.

It might not be so bad if I see me some Joshua. *rubs hands together in glee*

Ok gootniet.

i need a massage.

By popular demand, I'm gonna blog about orientation. Every last itty bitty detail. Well at least until I get too lazy.

Day 1 we were grouped, and almost EVERY bedokviewan was separated into different orientation groups. Except Fatimah and Hong Yun, but he didn't bother coming for the 2nd day onwards cause he had to practise for his La Salle and NAFA auditions. We had the usual, principal's talks and what not. Our group leaders were both from SACPS and SACSS and I felt weird cause it's been really damn long since the last time I was surrounded by so many familiar faces from yesteryesteryesteryear.

I was looking around and saw my darling Missy Mae in the same group as me! But not the same sub-group. Fun fact 1: She was my primary school classmate for 6 years! 6 years in the same class! Beat that.

Just kidding.

Su and Fi were nuts. The only ones who were screaming. I had no mood just yet, probably cause I felt weird screaming all by myself in a group of people I don't know.

In Missy's group, I saw a girl in a CHIJ uniform and SHE TOTALLY LOOKED LIKE CARLA. I seriously thought it was her, 100%. Later on I got to know that her name's SARAH and is probably a head taller than Carla, and infinitely nicer. And fuck, she can DANCE. More on that later.

I won't deny there wasn't any eye candy there. One caught my eye for a good 4 days. Remember Benjamin Broome? Or boom or whatever the fuck his surname is? I think he's sec 3 in BV now. Okay, now think of him much taller, slightly more muscular and older. And slightly more manly features. That's Joshua.

ALL the girls were gushing over him like you wouldn't believe. When Fi sat next to him accidentally during the Bio lecture I kept disturbing her, motioning to him when he wasn't looking. He's got a good sense of humour and can't dance for nuts.

Ya anyway.

Our group was called the Rolling Stones. There was ABBA, The Who, The Eagles, The Beatles and the Bee Gees. We were really lethargic on the first day and were very unenthusiastic about everything really.

Day 2 was another not so happening day. We were supposed to have wet games and practise our mass dance but we ended up postponing it to the next day and go through hours of leg-numbing talks. It wasn't so bad cause I made two new very cool friends. Sabarina (Fi's best primary school friend) from TKGS and Joan from CHIJ KC. No she's not a bitch. She's really really really sweet.

Sabarina's thinking of going for Franz. So is Raksha, Luqman and Syafiq. Maybe I can lump them all together and go in one big group.

Day 3 was when things got a whole lot more happening. Mass dance practise and wet games. The couple dance is soooooooooo fun. Instead of partnering a guy I partnered Fatimah instead, cause the girls had to ask the guys to dance and all the decent looking guys were snapped up almost immediately.

Wet games had us running around the school's track in the rain catching flying water bombs, crawling in the mud and playing dog and bone with a bar of soap. Shea, a cute eurasian from Fatimah's group totally thrashed the opposing team in rugby with ONE ARM. He's about as tall as Shan Wee and surprisingly isn't big sized.

At the end of the wet games we were asked to prepare as many water bombs as we could. We were then asked to assemble on the soccer field according to groups. A whistle went off and it WAS FUCKING CRAZY!!

Imagine this. 700++ people, armed with water bombs. One side of the field was attacking the other side. I swear it was like a scene from Lord of the Rings. It was fucking amazing.

Quote Fatimah: "AHHHH THE ORCS!! THE ORCS!!! *screams and jumps up and down* I AM VIGGO MORTENSEN!! COME LEGOLAS LETS GO!!! *runs towards the opposing side* "

Me and the others had a pact, not to throw our bombs till everyone had run out and we were free to hit whoever we wanted. However Fatimah had used hers and I was still waiting for the perfect moment. After most people had used their bombs, I couldn't decide who to hit. So I just squatted and flung my bomb as hard as I can behind me. It hit one guy right smack on the head and everyone around him dispersed. It felt damn fun so I threw Suhailah's one too the same way.

The toilets were jam packed with girls soon after, furiously washing their legs to the point where the drains were clogged with grass and mud. So many people were showering and washing that the water suddenly totally cut off! I had to walk back to the hall all muddy and waited till quite awhile after to wash up.

I just washed my feet cause I didn't wanna dirty my beautiful pumas. I felt so not bothered to wash up that I just went home soaking and showered immediately.

Day 4 was the last day of orientation. We had more talks, and submitted our subject combination forms.

I'm doing H2 Bio, Chem, Math and H1 Geog. The ideal combination I must say. If I can breeze though H2 Bio then i'll consider H3 Bio.

After that was more mass dance practise, then the CCA exhibition. I put down my name for Photography, Dance and Student Council. Photography loans out D70s!!! OMFG! So photography is confirmed yo. I don't think i'll be much of a hit with the Student Council though, cause of my big mouth and lack of participation in my secondary school CCAs. Which sucks majorly cause one of my new year's resolutions is to stick to a CCA and be active.

Practised for our Orientation Night performance for HOURSSSS till about 5.30pm. I kept doing the steps over and over cause I just kept screwing up. The performance itself? I totally bombed the retro dance. Gah. I forgot everything and my partner Marcus was so unenthusiastic and kept misleading me. Jeeeez. I was so disappointed with myself that I was down and out for a good 2 hours after our performance, mainly due to embarrassment.

Things picked up when the leaders did a live band thing. Every stood up and it was like a rock concert, jumping up and down and screaming our lungs out. There wasn't any REAL full dancing going on, which was disappointing but me and Su danced to the beginning of Hey Ya in the middle of the hall when everything ended anyway.

Fiq usher and Andrew crashed the orientation, but didn't make much of an impact. Finally reached home at 11.50pm, tired, legs aching and starving. I hadn't eaten since 1pm and all the dancing was taking a toll on me. So I ate some layer cake and fell asleep while watching A Guy Thing on Star movies before waking up again at 12.45pm to shower and sleep.

I was supposed to go for pool and a movie with Elizabeth, Paul and Adeana today but Elizabeth fell sick so it's been cancelled. Bah. And I was so looking forward to wearing my brand new $55 topshop skirt.

So that's about it I guess. My back and legs are aching so I guess you could say i'm thankful i'm not going out today. Time for some multiplayer F.E.A.R! =D

TPJC ORIENTATION WOOOOO!!!

I'm just too TIRED from all the games and whatnot that I'll summarise the highlights.

Made a shitload of new friends. And the first girl I clicked with loves Franz AND Coldplay! How awesome is that. I was singing A Rush of Blood to the Head out of boredom and she immediately went, 'Coldplay ah!'.

Carrie Chong and Shan Wee came on the 2nd day. Shan is like FUCKING TALL LAH. Cheebai.

Shit I have to go eat now bye.

yay new shoes! yay new stationery!

Yay! I love my new shoes! They're so LIGHT and make my feet look slimmer somehow.

So anyway.. I was reading the rest's blogs and they DID have fun! Which is good! I'm glad it wasn't boring like my birthday was. Although I do have to apologise to Steph and Jeremy on behalf of Dog's.. overly excited behaviour from having so many people around. And Mariam, Surin, and I think Yigang for my brother. I feel terrible really.

Ahh I haven't blogged about so many things. The sentosa outing, the east coast outing and the red house adventure.

I'll blog about the red house adventure (yes the scary house in pasir ris) in the day cause I'm very jumpy at this time of the night. And I'm tired.

The other two outings can be found on other blogs.

Aiyah i'm damn tired lah, I gotta wake up bledy early tomorrow to help deliver stupid calendars of fucking Raymond Lim to all the houses along Chempaka Kuning. So.... Ta!

I don't usually do this...but...

Foo Fighters - Resolve

Something that I felt today, something that I heard
Swingin' from the chandeliers, hanging on your word
I remember watchin' you once upon a time
Dancing from across the room in another life

A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how
A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how

Lookin' back to find my way, never seemed so hard
Yesterday's been laid to rest, changing of the guard
I would never change a thing even if I could
All the songs we used to sing, everything was good

A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how
A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how

One more year that you're not here
It's gone and passed you by
What happened to you, what happened to you
One more tear that you won't hear
That's gone and passed you by
What happened to you, what happened to you

A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how
A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how

A little bit of resolve
One more year that you're not here
It's gone and passed you by (A little bit of resolve)
A little bit of resolve
One more year that you're not here
It's gone and passed you by (A little bit of resolve)

**

Yey. That is my 2005 to 2006 transition song. It doesn't have much relevance, but I'm so addicted to that song.

New year's was gooood. Ate at pizza hut and Siglap with le multiracials, then took a 10 down to my place to continue the festivities... sorta. Apparently jeremy wants to go for franz ferdinand! Must scout for more people, sure can find one.

They screwed up our pizza hut reservations cause of some rebonded hair minah, who was some new worker there so she mixed everything up. Stupid bich. The nice waitress Suraya took time to consult the customers who took our seats as to how long they'd take to finish, and consulted her colleagues as well. We waited about 20 minutes more and finally got seats, plus a 10% discount off our total bill! Best.

At my house it sorta got boring. I dunno why, it always seems to be boring at my house. Maybe it's that boring vibe. The christmas decorations were still up and Mariam left at 3.15am singing jingle bell rock and spinning around in my driveway.

And here comes the typical cliche reminisce-about-2005 moment.

This year, or last year whatever was quite happening. Though I think 2004 was more happening. Anyway it was still very happening nonetheless. I got my first personal digicam, found a new love in photography, made friends, lost friends, renewed friendships, experienced acne almost at its worst (it still can get much, much worse i'm afraid), clubbed a little more than I expected, owned probably what was the worst pair of shoes in school, and studied my fucking butt off for the most part.

I christen this... Picture Of The Year! Yes I took it. Yes that is my hand. Yes the lizard is REALLY that small.

Click on it ok!! Full view it. Cause a silly little thumbnail like that doesn't do it justice. It's not very well focused though, blame my camera, but I tried my best. =D

Ah so cool lah. Me and Surin's 2nd new year together. I feel so loved.

Tomorrow is shopping day! Buy my shoes and stationery. Maybe go to Ikea. But Aresha is in Batam so it's unlikely.

Ok i'm tired so GOOTNEIT.

Oh, and happy freaking new year, all you nutters out there. =D
