ROAR HIATUS!

Hello world.

I haven't blogged in a long time. I dunno why, I have all these things up in my head but i'm just too lazy to type it ALL out cause i'm a longwinded boring person and I get distracted easily.

Anyways. I'm gonna start homework-ing and studying FO' REAL yo. No more playing around. After next week's Sea Sports Carnival, I shall start proper. I hope.

Speaking of the carnival, I love my frickin' class. We're having Dragonboat training tomorrow and I can't wait. Everyone should try it at least once in their life with a group of people they're relatively close to. I mean, the coordination, the cheering, glancing to the side and seeing that your boat totally owned the rest in the race, the feeling is unbelievable.

On to other things. I signed myself up for photo duty for the Chinese Orchestra Concert this saturday. You're probably thing OMG WTF but my whole class is going to see Yongquan play his er-hu or whatever so I signed up. Free entry, opportunity to take whatever pictures you want, AND THE NIKON D70 FOR A WEEKEND.

Shoot me. Like srsly. The thing's on saturday, so I gotta collect the camera on Friday, return it on Monday. Oh, sweet motherfucking bliss.

And ohyah, I went for the 2nd night of Baybeats. It was alright, but you can only stand at a concert so many times you know? And coldplay completely satisfied my need to see live music for... a very long time. I would've rather sat by the river listening to the music from the Chillout stage. So we see how, next year. Oh no wait A levels. Sheesh.

After Baybeats, me Yigang and Surin sat near the flyover and talked crap. Then we heard a not-so-loud CAR BUANG CAR sound. Me and Yiggers ran up to the flyover while Surin did the 'I-don't-wanna-be-a-kpo-kiasu-Singaporean' thing. It was a mild 5 car pile-up, just bumper to bumper dents. Is that called a pile-up? I dunno. But yeah.

Called Aresha and she was at Homeclub, so Yg and me ran all the way there after Surin left. Saw Aresha there, got stamped for entry for free, and we sat outside drinking... Brandy dry with gin or something.. I can't remember. But it was strong shit. I felt heady and Yg was red. Then suddenly he felt a very strong urge to dance. A VERY strong urge.

So we went in and danced for a long time. I came out earlier cause my ears felt like they were gonna burst. Coldplay, baybeats then Homeclub. My ears are taking a break now. So I went out, checked my phone and got a msg from my mother. Shit shit. She said I better have a good reason for coming home late. And it was only after I showed Aresha the msg that she told me she and ma fought before she left.

So ma is just carrying out her usual routine. When she fights with Aresha, it's suddenly the crime of the century to go out with her. And since I didn't know, I happily went. Reached home at 4am, and the next day ma grounded me for a month. Hooray.

Yes I'm grounded. I haven't been grounded in a long time actually, so it might do me good. But i'll be missing Aresha's super fab event at BarBaaBlackChic on Friday night. Oh well. See lah aruna, test your limit some more. Next time around it'll be a lot worse than grounding.

Okay i'll post the coldplay pictures up here as SOON as i've watermarked them with my wonderful name. Cause yknow... people... STEAL.. you know? Maybe YOU won't think my pictures are that valuable but I cannot stand the idea of someone saving my pics to their comp and posting them somewhere else without me knowing. There's a word for that whole sentence, but my vocabulary is failing me today.

A Level malay Oral and Listening Compre was on Monday and Tuesday. And I totally screwed up both. I didn't know what saluran hiburan was so I just bullshitted my way through. The examiners were cold bitches man, really. They don't smile, they don't even have a trace of warmth in those dead, malay-language revering eyes.

Malay at A Level is SO redundant. Sheesh. It's not like we aren't short of time as it is. Yeah, PILE on fucking 6 periods a week wasted on useless malay. UGH. And don't get my started on Project Work.

Overseas CIP interviews were today. It went okay, he seemed impressed, somewhat. But he kept insisting on a reason why I wouldn't want a leadership role in this. I told him i've already had ample opportunity to be a leader in so many ways, so I would encourage someone who hasn't had the chance but the potential to go for it. And that wasn't a good enough reason. But as a whole it went okay.

On the application form for it they asked us to fill in the problems we may encounter during the thing. I wanted to write.. 'Tio menses'.

But I didn't. Of course.
