Sorry for the mini-hiatus. Had to take down the blog for some.... reasons lah. I'll tell you if you ask me nicely.
Past few days have been spent studying, watching/waiting for the OC to download, a night or two at starbucks, heart-to-heart talks with my mom, getting snapped at by my sister and enjoying almost flawless bass from the lovely headphones.
Not bad, could've been worse. Mom came back from KL on Tuesday. She finally got that well-deserved holiday of hers. Came back quite a nice fake Fendi travel bag. She bought me a fake adidas jacket which might've been pretty nice if the logo wasn't completely off-centre. I'll still use it though. Ok we don't buy everything fake. It's just when you go to KL.... you tend to buy fake things hahaha.
Ok was ranting to Mimi for a moment.
I love her latest blog entry haha. Glad I inspired you, bitch! :D
Friday and Shaturday were fun too, spent with Yigang and Maya for the most part. Once the A's are over, i'll have all the time in the world to spend with you guys, finally. Heck, i'll go to your workplaces and accompany you home. HAHA.
Anyways, the time spent was lovely, despite Saturday's horrible Karaoke- I mean Music @ C-Park. The music wasn't bad, it's just the sound system. It was so fucked up and not built for music at all. I told Pa to take a few pointers for those things they throw for teenagers at Cineleisure or whatever, cause I swear after a certain point in time almost all the seats were.... empty.
Saw Ms Evelyn Chua off at the airport on Sunday. She left for Hungary cause her husband was posted there for two years. Wilbur/Yongquan was like... "So 'cher when you come back it'll be three people right?" Cause she has no kids... yet.
She paused for awhile. Then,
"Ya, a second husband."
I found it funny.
Ok anyway, we left her a bit early to spend some time with her family before leaving, so we wandered around the airport before going home. Felt damn emo man, even the way I was dressed.
So tomorrow i'll FINALLY be watching Shrek 3, after putting it off for about... almost a month.
I know I haven't been blogging much, so i'll just put up photos.
Ok so Photobucket was being a bitch, but now it's okay. I'm feeling lazy though. Soon soon.

no better cure
Just did some lovely online shopping earlier to rid me of my anger-induced nausea. I finally bought grey skinnies and a dress/top thing.
Heh. I just realised I can't shop properly anymore. I dunno why online shopping feels so much better. It's not a good habit, but I guess something's wrong with me.

Wish I could make a punching bag out of your face. Cause that's how low you've gone, and how much you mean to me at this point.
Heck, if you were a punching bag, it'd be an improvement.
Thinking about the kinda person you are triggers my gag reflex.
I'd better stop blogging about this, lest I puke all over my lovely computer. You're not even worth a vomit-covered mess.

yeowch
Despite everything said and done, it's still the same fucking story over and over isn't it? Gah.
This feeling sucks balls man.

The school week is finally over, and it's back to holiday mode again. YAY! Went on a very very unfruitful shopping session with Yigang yesterday. Normally I do like to shop, and with a monthly block allowance the prices go a lot easier on the eyes than before, but after looking at rows after rows of what looks like the 10 millionth mod/retro dress/top you kinda get thrown off shopping entirely.
Finding the perfect skirt was also a bitch and a half. I still haven't though. I think i'd rather shop on weekdays cause the Saturday crowd is madness.
Mom's off again to KL for 3 days. Only. Quite sad la. I will of course be going out tonight and tomorrow night, I hope. Tuesday's Sentosa day with the darlings! Man. I have to put up with so many wretched people save for them. Don't know what i'd do without them :D
Last night I couldn't meet Mon to drink but but but.... He came right to my gate and put a box on the pillar. I insisted he didn't and that he could pass it to me another day but it was a no-win situation cause all I could do was protest from my window.

But now I have these! Thankyouthankyouthankyou Mon! They're lovely and I will be paying you back. I will. Shut up.
This holiday's been pretty good to me, I guess. I'm rewatching The OC Season 3 on the iPod. Yay me!

back to school-izzle
Just for this week. A couple of hours here and there, for chapters we don't need to know for the upcoming Mid Years. Gah. I hate it when they call it mid-year exams. Makes it sound so important.
Well. It kinda is. But still.
Anyways, Last Wednesday evening I went for dinner with Maya and Yiggers. Maya and I had a bit of girly talk before that, which was really GOOD and gosh, I miss going out with them so much! Wtf was wrong with me all the while. I need to go knock my head.
We had good burgers and Billy Bombers which I finally got to try! Then it was a fun bus 12 ride back... Sigh. The perks of not having the momster around.
By the way, she's back. She's been back since last Thursday, and she's been acting like nothing more than a total dipshit it's been driving all of us crazy. Aresha especially.
Ash turned 20 yesterday. 20 but still a 7-year old. Best la, I wish I could be 7. He acted up in the morning and I dragged my ass out of bed at 8am to help tie him up till he calmed down, but we still went to Samy's Curry at Katong Village to eat dinner which was pretty good! Great actually. I need a good Indian food fix every once in awhile despite my failure as an Indian in every other aspect.
Corporal Paul decided to talk to me again today. Haha. I think this time we might actually GO OUT instead of talk cock under the stars, though that's what we do best. Ma will hopefully be off on another trip next week and this time around I shall make FULL USE of every minute she's gone.
Studying's been going pretty blah. Today I realised everyone has yet to start on their revision, which is a BAD THING. It may be comforting to know but 3 weeks is a very short period of time, and squeezing in revision for the rest of the chapters afterwards will be very very tricky considering the Math Dept hasn't even finished the FUCKING SYLLABUS.
Oh yes. Aresha and I now have a set plan. After my A's (for which i'll hopefully score As), I'll apply for a university in the UK. And. My sister will come with me! YAY! She actually wants to leave now, but decided to wait for me instead.
After all that, we'll decide whether to stay or come back. When I say stay, I mean permanently. It really kills me la but my sister says its for the better. According to her, in Singapore, you work twice as hard to earn half the moolah you could be earning in another country. I suppose the UK has more opportunities for both her and me so it almost sounds like a movie-worthy adventure.
If we screw up? Haha. Aresha non-chalantly said we have the house to fall back on. Risky, but my parents are all for her and me embarking on a new life.
If it really happens, I don't know what i'll do without the people I love so much. You know who you are.
:(

the good and the badminton
You know something. I really love my dad. As much as i'm the invisible child despite everything i've achieved and us constantly snapping at each other, there's love i'm sure of it. I asked him if he wanted to go to Foo House with me, just the two of us prolly drinking alcohol. He's all busy, so never mind.
But deep down i'm sure he appreciates it.
Aresha's landing in about 3 hours. Yay. I hope she had a good time. First thing she'll do is probably show me all the photos she took while she was there on the D80 she borrowed. That's the only thing i'm jealous about, I suppose. But one thing I can do better than her for sure is take photos :)
I have started on revision. Yay me. Slow and steady though. A bit too slow, but it'll pick up for sure.
Although... I will be taking a nice break in between for a bit of night-time drinking. Alcohol makes for good escapism. Lovely.
I put gel insoles into my Mankillers. Yes, I finally own a pair, from GoJane! I could kill someone just by stabbing them. I wore them for TPJC Runway, felt like a million bucks. Only downside was that my feet would go numb after awhile of walking. It got so bad that I just pulled them off on the way to Tampines Mart MacD's with Hafidz. It's becoming a habit... I HAVE to stop taking my shoes off and walking around barefoot in public.
So yes, I hope the gel insoles work their magic. Cause I finally found the solution to not looking like a minah/topshop-whore in skinnies. Wear my lovely Mankillers!
I bought a lovely green dress from GoJane too. It's a bit on the revealing side, and coming from me that means it's pretty *ahem*. Apart from that it's quite a shapless dress, sadly. Something I could wear for drinks at night I guess.
Badminton today! It was productive actually. We played properly for a good 2 hours, fooled around for one. I missed the Heroes rerun at 12pm so i'll be lost watching Heroes tomorrow.
Now my thigh muscles are all wobbly and I can't hold my 1 litre bottle of water properly. I'm also starting to think it's a bad thing that I drink water a litre at a time.
But deep down i'm sure he appreciates it.

this doesn't change things
It won't, okay.
Anyway, I watched PoTC 3 already! Haha yeah i'm finally up-to-date with movies! Thanks to Mon! Cause he is awesome and if he weren't I'd still be emo going on my 'i-have-no-friends' rant.
Hehe. And I actually sat down to watch a Formula One race. Cool stuff, I think the Singapore one will definitely be worth going for.
Gonna play badminton with the classmates tomorrow! I'm anticipating quite a bit of madness. But my mom took both MY digicam and the videocam so... I'll just have to rely on my stupid phone.
Haha. Also. Who would've thought I'd finally realise the person I kept going weak in the knees for isn't worth half my time? Sheesh. Thanks for wasting an integral part of my year.
Aresha's coming back from Japan Wednesday morning, 1am. Then Ma on Thursday. Sigh. The house will be in madness again. I'm really appreciating the peace and quiet, although too much means my mind will wander too easily and I won't be able to study.
My last month of holidays before the final stretch of rote-based education. Thanks for wasting 18 years of my life. This feels like a speech of false gratitude rather than a blog entry.
I'm having the worst headache now. Like my right eyeball has a shard stuck in it and its projecting inwards into my brain. Yeah, ouch. It's not really an ache anymore, its like a jarring sharp pain. Then again, it's been bugging me perpetually throughout the day so it COULD be an ache.
Aruna, just shut up and sleep.

bloodshot eyes
Yes Aruna is still alive.
I'm going through a really emo phase right now. No I don't mean black nail polish and wearing cardigans. I'm feeling emo about everything, and making things a bigger deal than it actually. Except today during TPJC Runway, but that's over la.
TPJC Runway 2007 was pretty good. They had external designers from La Salle and other JCs to show their stuff and it was pretty interesting. It was a great way to kick off the June holidays, despite how fucked up I was feeling. Had a very interesting, laugh-at-stupid-things dinner with Hafidz, and also learning the shocking truth about quite a number of people.
Oh yes, HOLIDAYS! Finally right! Whoever wants to go out, CALL ME. I WANT TO BE CALLED. But please please please refrain from late nights. And it's on a how-much-Aruna-studies-before-that basis. So cross your fingers and hope you have good timing.
Aresha's in Tokyo, and you'd think i'd be mad jealous but surprisingly i'm not. Aruna, not jealous about not going to Japan? HOMAIGORD! But no. Really.
I suppose for me to be truly jealous, she'd have to do all the things i've seen in Japan hour. Oh, and travel to remote mountains. Kyoto, Nara, Hokkaido, Okinawa, ESPECIALLY Okinawa by bullet train and enjoy hot springs and eat raw seafood. I've been reading too many comic books.
It all depends on where the DNB promoter brings her and OtherDude. I suppose it's not big deal for me to reveal his name, but just in case la. She's been talking to OtherDude quite a bit and I guess things may or may not get serious when she's there.
Ma's off to Hong Kong this Sunday and I will be spending my 5 days of freedom blissfully.... studying. Yes you read that right. The mugging has begun.
Oh, and I am BROKE. As in seriously. Strictly Simpang dinners please. Just for this month. I need to pay off a $150 debt. HAHA.
And. Possibly another $89 for those retro Panasonic headphones. Because I am sick and tired of scratchy bass during all the good parts in my Drum n Bass mixes on the iPod. And it doesn't bug fellow commuters. Which is good, cause I HATE to get irritated stares from people on buses and trains.
Ahh, ok. Feeling much less emo now. Who knows what'll happen tomorrow? Oh, it's one more day to the momster's departure! Yeay!

TPJC... has a corporate video!
Haha. Yes. I don't know if I love it or hate it. The interview parts look overly-rehearsed.
'nuff said. See it for yourself.
Oh, and have a good laugh. There's like a split second snippet of me! During the council part. Haha. But if you can't find it then too bad. Zahra looks awesome in the Indian Dance part though.

an obvious, obvious attraction.
I typed in www.blogger.com mindlessly, with absolutely no idea what I was gonna blog about.
I watched BLAAAADES OF GLORY YESTERDAY! Yay! I don't give two shits about Spiderman 3. I'd take a Will Ferrell and Napoleon Dynamite dude over stupid emo spiderman any day. Damn funny lah. It's the same kinda nonsensical humour I enjoyed from Derek Zoolander and Anchorman. Will Ferrell movies are the best I swear. I have the Talladega Nights DVD but I have yet to watch it. I will... Soon.
Strange though... Mon and I were laughing our asses off but the rest of the audience was quite.... passive. Except for the obviously HA HA funny parts. Singaporeans have a lousy sense of humour.
Yay blogger has an autosave function! Fina-fucking-lly. No more randomly lost entries.
So, yesterday, it was great. It's been damn bledy long since I went out to town to catch a movie. Or simply go to town. I don't like town la. Everything about that place is mad annoying.
After the movie we walked from The Cathay to PS to Far East. When you're walking with good company the distance passes so fast you don't realise it. I had 3 things to buy - iPod wall charger, a belated mother's day present, and Raushan's long overdue boxers HAHA. The Far East shopkeepers seem quite bent on ripping people off. $35 for a fucking charger! Eat shit la.
And the boxers nowadays are SO UGLY. Like.... disgusting. I only saw one which was remotely nice, the rest were just... eeeugggh. I bought myself a Little Miss Trouble t-shirt. Quite apt in certain situations i've been in this year ;)
But anyway. I saw about 5-10 girls wearing the same Little Miss Sunshine tee. I almost bought it but... no. Haha. I got mine for $15! After seeing them online for $25. Walked around wondering where we were gonna eat dinner, and decided on The Balcony cause I love the music they play there. And it looks so classy.
We had dinner and wine, it was oh-so-nice. Talked a lot of cock and made our way back.
And now it's the start of a shitty Sunday. Sometimes I wonder where my dad gets energy from to get angry with me. Its quite selective. If i'm invisible to him for quite a big part of the week, leave me alone for the rest.
I think I need to start talking like a meek, demure, frail little girl. Cause if I don't, everything I say gets twisted and people think i'm trying to pick a fight with them. No ok. No. You'd think my family after so long would realise it by now. And it's not what I say. It's my tone of voice. I hate it.
Sigh. The problems you have to go through cause you need an allowance and can't work.

of tears, fevers, and ipod videos
I'll do this a la Zahra, quicknotes!
- stepped down from the 21st council on tuesday, handed it over to the 22nd. they're alright, but i'm doubtful about our Prom Night '07. GG.
- I didn't cry. I really wanted to though, I was practically distraught and all, but I just couldn't cry.
- bought an iPod video 2 weeks ago. I was gonna pay my mom back for it in $50 instalments over 7 months, but she sent me an sms, saying that for every A I get, it's worth $50. "Deal or No Deal?" She smsed exactly that. So.... haha.
- Next Wednesday i'm going to RJC for their Investiture with Zahra and Asri. I'm prepared for a bit of travelling, an excuse to leave school early, and whole lot of madass fun.
- The JC1 mats in TPJC are MAD FUNNY. You probably dunno what's going on in this video, but its self-explanatory really. TPJC's soccer team can make it, it's just sad they have a coach like Mr Nordin.
- My inner minah has been showing during TPJC soccer matches. It just isn't half as fun if there weren't any malay vulgarities to shout out loud.

the partay was gooood!
I had fun la. I hope those who came did too. And to Maya, Surin and Yiggers, I'm really so so so sorry. It's really damn hard to host these kinda things man. And to think that I was the most discreet birthday girl too.
But it was good. Its helluva lot harder putting together these things than I thought. We were 1 and a half hours late coming down to start the party and people were calling us nonstop while we were rushing to get ready. Three of us were STILL at the place setting up at 7pm.
Ok la dancefloor finals. Later!

headache, arm-ache, leg-ache, backside-ache
31st May to 6th June issss.... SPONGEBOB LIVE! WHO WANTS TO WATCH IT WITH ME! Heheheh.
I saw it on TV while I was talking to my mom and just stopped. If there's any kiddy musical I wouldn't mind watching, it'd be this alright.
Birthday partay coming in a week's time! Can't wait lahhh. Remember to RSVP people.

it's always like that... isnt it.
miss simpang bedok [the 21st will never end] says: then you can run along back to me
miss simpang bedok [the 21st will never end] says: and i'll let you cry on my shoulder

Yes hello. Dunno why i've been so tired as of late. Haven't been sleeping late, not fatigued (i hope) from work. Just the plain inability to focus, so my mind wanders. And when my concentration slips and I start dozing off, Ryan has a helluva good laugh during GP lessons.
One time, I napped while pretending to read a passage while everyone else was reading it. Later on the GP tutor called on me and for some reason I briefly heard her say something about reading paragraph 3... In a dream I was having or something. So I eagerly read paragraph 3 out loud.
The classmates start giggling and I was oblivious, then the tutor tells me we're on paragraph 2.
SO. I eagerly read out paragraph 2. Shiyong and Fadhilah kept turning around and giggling, so was Ryan my idiot GP class partner. I stopped halfway and yelled and everyone asking why they were all giggling. Even the tutor was giggling. Apparently she asked me a question about paragraph 2, and I woke up and started reading paragraph 3. I wanted to knock Ryan on the head. Twice.
But it was pretty funny. Kinda reminded me of Hari Raya at Fatimah's house last year.
'Is it illegal?'
'No she's not Indian, she's Chinese'
It's 12.03am and it's gonna be a long-ass day tomorrow ballz. We've got some European thingy going on on Monday, and rehearsals are tomorrow. Can't wait to sleep in during the weekend. :)

yay!
Ok everyone. I just received an update from my CT. I scored pretty well for my Chem test so...
Here's the details!
Date: Saturday, 21st April
Address: The Waterside
Yes it's a condo at Tanjong Rhu.
Apparently its damn nice. In front of Dunman High, at Fort Rd there.
I think you can take buses 401 or some other buses haha.
It's evening-night-ish, and will last pretty long. There will be (hopefully) a LOT of people so brace yourselves. Haha. The birthday girls are Rishibha, Zahra and me. None of our birthdays fall on the 21st, but never mind la ok.
Multiracials and the bahluls, PLEASE RSVP BY THURSDAY. SANKSYOU. I'll be giving those who RSVP more details then. It's a BYOB thing, bring your own booze. Ok.
I don't think i'll go into detail about Council Camp from Friday to Sunday, but one thing's for sure. The past year was probably the best one in my entire life and i've made so many great friends and we've planned so many successful events together, we've created a standard that far surpasses that of previous councils. Sure, it could be due to the fact that we're the first 50-people strong council in TPJC history but we sure made it work out.
Last year's camp was pretty bad. We spent most of the time preparing for Investiture and being yelled at by the seniors. This year we totally scrapped the entire 'be-stupidly-fierce-to-instil-discipline' for the 22nd Council's camp and it make the camp so much more enjoyable for both the 22nd and the 21st. And Senior's Nite was unbelievable, the 22nd did a fantastic job. From laughing till our insides ached to a sincere thank you speech by Mark (previously 21st, now 22nd councillor) that made us start bawling.
So anyways. I will probably be bawling at Investiture on the 8th of May. Sigh.
I really really wish our term would never end.

THIS POST IS FOR YIGGERS
I'm so sorry about not being able to make it. I feel terrible, and i'll make it up to you I promise. I just need to wait this whole punishment thing out and buck up on my results.
Man, I feel like such a kid.
Anyway, I really couldn't take it last night, doing absolutely nothing over the weekend. Paul was supposed to help me 'walk my dog' last Saturday but he fell asleep, so he agreed to 'walk my dog' last night. HAHAHA.
Nothing suggestive la. Initially I told him that he can really literally help me walk my dog, but I realised that I can't stay out for a couple of hours under the guise of walking my dog. So when my mom went to sleep, I sneaked out. Went to 7-11 to get iced lemon tea and went to the park and did our 'lie under the stars and talk cock' as usual.
Stupid fella STILL has trouble with girls. He's hopeless lah, I got so fed-up I started throwing rocks at him. In a year he'll be Sergeant Paul Soh, which he eagerly showed off. Stupid SISPEC goon.
NS is so blah. But you get paid, free food and a place to stay, so it's not so bad what.
Ok so, council camp this weekend. And there's still a chance the 3-girl birthday partay is still on. I'll be keeping you guys posted. :D

a song i heard on the radio nong, nong ago.
Heard it again on the Dancefloor. Stupid E squared danced to it, but surprisingly, it wasn't half bad.
I relate to the chorus a tad too much for comfort;

Why d'ya have to be so cute?
It's impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much
It's bad enough we get along so well
Went for Indian Dance SYF today. Yet again, I felt like the biggest outcast out of the entire bus. But it wasn't half bad when you have idiots like Raushan and people who feel at least half as weird as you do, like Rishibha.
The girls were AMAZING! Gold with honours I saysssss. Results out tomorrow, I have my fingers crossed for you guys. AJC was not bad, NJC was the bledy BOMB. The rest..... were lousay lah.
This week sucks ass, but doesn't suck as much ass as last week. I start tuition this Friday. The tutor sounds promising. He's determined to get me the As that I want, and has already started pushing me to start revising.
But I don't get much done hanging around here do I?
To get A grades for 'A' Levels I better be fucking prepared to put in A-grade effort.

woo. yay. i'm 18. i'm legal and blahdeedah.
So yes, legal to do most things. Hoo ray. Not like it makes a difference, drinking? M18 movies? Driving smoking been there done that.
Anyhews, I had a lovely birthday. I had a second surprise (after the first one on Saturday) from the 4 goondus I hang out with in class and make my day worth coming to school for - Priya, Hafizah, Fadhilah and FATIMAH! Yay! She made me a lovely card too. The funniest thing was that I reached the canteen and they were still struggling to light the candles on the cake.
Samuel/Kiwi/Kenneth/I can't remember even asked me, "eh Aruna got lighter or not?"
I just sat there and laughed my ass off.
The class sang me birthday songs, with Kenneth going YEEP YEEP at the end of every line. Haha, first time i've ever had one of those things y'know, cake in school, birthday song and all.
Once all the hoo ha died down, and we went for our math lecture, I saw Rishibha and Zahra eagerly waiting to run in. I started feeling anxious watching them run up the stairs, in front of my seat. They stood in front of me and my whole class including those 2 goons started shouting the Happy Birthday song as louuuuddd as they could, and half the lecture theatre joined in.
Even Mrs Sze on the microphone said she'll sing me one herself in private HAHA.
At home it was nothing much, had really really good indian food, epilated my arms and watched depserate housewives. My arms are hairless again! Wooo! But it was damn cheebai pain la, like unbelievably pain at first, then after awhile you sorta adjust to it. Only downside is that i've got a few red marks here and there.
Tomorrow i'll be tagging along with Indian Dance for their SYF. Initally I just wanted to take photos, and at the same time support Zahra and the rest but now i've been put down for.... make-up. What the hell! I have absolutely zero experience in the performing arts and how they wear their make-up in that very extravagant way that they do. So... good luck to them tomorrow if i'm REALLY assigned to help out with make-up.
And i've resolved to go out quite.... sporadically. I realised that at the rate i'm going now, no way in hell's name am I even gonna SMELL an A grade for my A levels. Coupled together with my punishment for doing something quite bad, I won't be going out much for awhile. I don't know how long.
I still want to go to Sentosa with the bahluls. I still want to have my 18th birthday partay with Rish and Zahra on the 21st. I still want to do manymany things.
Sighe. Almost zero social life for the next 7 months. Wait for me, 22nd November, when it all ends.

i thought i was miserable... until....
I realised that I have, unquestionably, the SWEETEST OF THE SWEETEST FRIENDS IN THE UNIVERSE.
Nobody has ever done something that sweet for me. Thank you.... so so much for making my miserable week tons better. Thinking about it makes me wanna cry again, like how I did when you guys stood at my gate with a slice of cake and sang happy birthday for me.
I love you guys, Fi, Nurul, Su, Yiling, and Rau & Fat even though you guys weren't there.
You are the people I truly will never forget, and never want to lose touch with.
Thank you :)
