i need a massage.

By popular demand, I'm gonna blog about orientation. Every last itty bitty detail. Well at least until I get too lazy.

Day 1 we were grouped, and almost EVERY bedokviewan was separated into different orientation groups. Except Fatimah and Hong Yun, but he didn't bother coming for the 2nd day onwards cause he had to practise for his La Salle and NAFA auditions. We had the usual, principal's talks and what not. Our group leaders were both from SACPS and SACSS and I felt weird cause it's been really damn long since the last time I was surrounded by so many familiar faces from yesteryesteryesteryear.

I was looking around and saw my darling Missy Mae in the same group as me! But not the same sub-group. Fun fact 1: She was my primary school classmate for 6 years! 6 years in the same class! Beat that.

Just kidding.

Su and Fi were nuts. The only ones who were screaming. I had no mood just yet, probably cause I felt weird screaming all by myself in a group of people I don't know.

In Missy's group, I saw a girl in a CHIJ uniform and SHE TOTALLY LOOKED LIKE CARLA. I seriously thought it was her, 100%. Later on I got to know that her name's SARAH and is probably a head taller than Carla, and infinitely nicer. And fuck, she can DANCE. More on that later.

I won't deny there wasn't any eye candy there. One caught my eye for a good 4 days. Remember Benjamin Broome? Or boom or whatever the fuck his surname is? I think he's sec 3 in BV now. Okay, now think of him much taller, slightly more muscular and older. And slightly more manly features. That's Joshua.

ALL the girls were gushing over him like you wouldn't believe. When Fi sat next to him accidentally during the Bio lecture I kept disturbing her, motioning to him when he wasn't looking. He's got a good sense of humour and can't dance for nuts.

Ya anyway.

Our group was called the Rolling Stones. There was ABBA, The Who, The Eagles, The Beatles and the Bee Gees. We were really lethargic on the first day and were very unenthusiastic about everything really.

Day 2 was another not so happening day. We were supposed to have wet games and practise our mass dance but we ended up postponing it to the next day and go through hours of leg-numbing talks. It wasn't so bad cause I made two new very cool friends. Sabarina (Fi's best primary school friend) from TKGS and Joan from CHIJ KC. No she's not a bitch. She's really really really sweet.

Sabarina's thinking of going for Franz. So is Raksha, Luqman and Syafiq. Maybe I can lump them all together and go in one big group.

Day 3 was when things got a whole lot more happening. Mass dance practise and wet games. The couple dance is soooooooooo fun. Instead of partnering a guy I partnered Fatimah instead, cause the girls had to ask the guys to dance and all the decent looking guys were snapped up almost immediately.

Wet games had us running around the school's track in the rain catching flying water bombs, crawling in the mud and playing dog and bone with a bar of soap. Shea, a cute eurasian from Fatimah's group totally thrashed the opposing team in rugby with ONE ARM. He's about as tall as Shan Wee and surprisingly isn't big sized.

At the end of the wet games we were asked to prepare as many water bombs as we could. We were then asked to assemble on the soccer field according to groups. A whistle went off and it WAS FUCKING CRAZY!!

Imagine this. 700++ people, armed with water bombs. One side of the field was attacking the other side. I swear it was like a scene from Lord of the Rings. It was fucking amazing.

Quote Fatimah: "AHHHH THE ORCS!! THE ORCS!!! *screams and jumps up and down* I AM VIGGO MORTENSEN!! COME LEGOLAS LETS GO!!! *runs towards the opposing side* "

Me and the others had a pact, not to throw our bombs till everyone had run out and we were free to hit whoever we wanted. However Fatimah had used hers and I was still waiting for the perfect moment. After most people had used their bombs, I couldn't decide who to hit. So I just squatted and flung my bomb as hard as I can behind me. It hit one guy right smack on the head and everyone around him dispersed. It felt damn fun so I threw Suhailah's one too the same way.

The toilets were jam packed with girls soon after, furiously washing their legs to the point where the drains were clogged with grass and mud. So many people were showering and washing that the water suddenly totally cut off! I had to walk back to the hall all muddy and waited till quite awhile after to wash up.

I just washed my feet cause I didn't wanna dirty my beautiful pumas. I felt so not bothered to wash up that I just went home soaking and showered immediately.

Day 4 was the last day of orientation. We had more talks, and submitted our subject combination forms.

I'm doing H2 Bio, Chem, Math and H1 Geog. The ideal combination I must say. If I can breeze though H2 Bio then i'll consider H3 Bio.

After that was more mass dance practise, then the CCA exhibition. I put down my name for Photography, Dance and Student Council. Photography loans out D70s!!! OMFG! So photography is confirmed yo. I don't think i'll be much of a hit with the Student Council though, cause of my big mouth and lack of participation in my secondary school CCAs. Which sucks majorly cause one of my new year's resolutions is to stick to a CCA and be active.

Practised for our Orientation Night performance for HOURSSSS till about 5.30pm. I kept doing the steps over and over cause I just kept screwing up. The performance itself? I totally bombed the retro dance. Gah. I forgot everything and my partner Marcus was so unenthusiastic and kept misleading me. Jeeeez. I was so disappointed with myself that I was down and out for a good 2 hours after our performance, mainly due to embarrassment.

Things picked up when the leaders did a live band thing. Every stood up and it was like a rock concert, jumping up and down and screaming our lungs out. There wasn't any REAL full dancing going on, which was disappointing but me and Su danced to the beginning of Hey Ya in the middle of the hall when everything ended anyway.

Fiq usher and Andrew crashed the orientation, but didn't make much of an impact. Finally reached home at 11.50pm, tired, legs aching and starving. I hadn't eaten since 1pm and all the dancing was taking a toll on me. So I ate some layer cake and fell asleep while watching A Guy Thing on Star movies before waking up again at 12.45pm to shower and sleep.

I was supposed to go for pool and a movie with Elizabeth, Paul and Adeana today but Elizabeth fell sick so it's been cancelled. Bah. And I was so looking forward to wearing my brand new $55 topshop skirt.

So that's about it I guess. My back and legs are aching so I guess you could say i'm thankful i'm not going out today. Time for some multiplayer F.E.A.R! =D
